ride your own wave
set yourself free
of all the lifetimes i’ve ever lived, this one is by far my favorite yet.
i bow to god
I spent the past few days camping in the forest on some of the most magical land I’ve ever touched. While I was there, I discovered new levels of freedom and a peace I’ve never known.
My inhibitions disappear as I roam the land in my bare skin, make friends with a wild turkey, practice yoga, watch the squirrels play, luxuriate in the silence, write some words, let the sun kiss my body over & over again, nap by a river, sip on homemade chai, nibble on some chocolate, stare at the trees in absolute awe, dance with God, listen to the moon and cry tears of joy because this is all I’ve ever wanted. Ever.
I become a well of gratitude every time I step away from the noise and settle into silence. I realize how little I need to be happy on my ever evolving journey and how much satisfaction I feel when I waltz into my natural feminine flow with no agenda. My heart swells with love as I surrender to the moment and melt into the protective arms of mama earth.
Nature nourishes my soul and holds space for me to grow & bloom. She waters me and feeds me. She gives me sunshine to strengthen my immunity and oxygen to breathe and everything I need for shelter.
Nothing compares to the gifts God has placed on this earth for every breathing creature to live in abundance. This is why I bow to God, and not man, for all of eternity.

breaking free
being free is really about being yourself without apology or explanation. if you dare to look like an outlandish & unmanageable misfit, you will know freedom.
nobody ever reached soul satisfaction by following the crowd & doing what everyone else is doing. the happiest, most loving people i know are the bold warriors who risked it all to break free from society’s shallow standards & honor their soul’s calling. the outcasts are the bravest people on this planet.
the freedom to be yourself requires courage. our codependent (cult)ure demands you obey manmade rules designed to control your thoughts & actions. it programs you to believe your survival depends on your willingness to conform. it leads you to believe someone else knows better than you. it brainwashes you to believe you need another adult telling you what to do because you are incapable of making wise decisions on your own. it teaches you that everyone else’s needs are more important than yours. a codependent culture’s stamina relies heavily on your insecurities & subservience.
next time you find yourself dismissing your intuition in the name of “love” or virtue or any other misleading label they have attached to conformity, stand in your truth & take your power back. your needs matter as much as anyone else’s.
you are strong.
you are wise.
you are worthy.
i love you.

when i became me
i took it off.
i slowly removed every expectation & limiting belief ever handed to me.
i traded in the suffocating good girl costume for something less predictable.
i severed ties with anyone asking me to give up pieces of myself i’d rather keep.
i broke up with fear & learned how to make love to every moment i encounter.
i let go of people who are incapable of holding space for all of me.
i shed layers upon layers of sorrow & pain just to find my way back to my heart.
i ripped off the shackles of shame & ran as fast as i could toward freedom.
i stripped down to my bare soul & saw the woman i’ve always wanted to be.
i became me when i released what was no longer mine to carry.
i became free when i became me.

choose happiness
i belong in nature
i belong in nature
away from the noise
& meaningless chatter.
where deer roam
& rivers flow
& i sit quietly
with the trees
savoring every breath
i breathe
as my body melts
into the moment.
i dig my bare feet
into the soil
& feel the rain
fall upon my face
washing away
the burdens
i once carried.
i grow wild
& dance
to the beat
of my own heart
honoring
the sacred feminine
as she teaches me
how to become
the woman
i came here to be
wild & free.
i talk
to god
in a language
without words
& bow in gratitude
for this precious life
he granted me.
i gaze up
at the stars
then close my eyes
as the moon
whispers lullabies
in her gentle voice
each night.
i wake up
with the sun
as eternal love
welcomes me
into this world
over & over again
every morning.
i am free.
i am protected.
i am loved.
& so are you.

crank up the love
don’t get mad if i shine my light on your shadow. i’m only showing you where your pain resides. i don’t want you to carry it with you any longer. i know what it feels like to carry the heavy burden of deep pain and i don’t want you to suffer any more. i want you to break free from your suffering.
i’m not here to hurt you. i’m here to love you. i only want you to look at your shadow so you can heal your pain. we’ve all endured so much injury in this lifetime. we’ve been told we are not enough or too much of something every day of our lives. enough is enough. turn toward love. release judgement toward yourself and set your spirit free.

soul liberation
freedom isn’t free.
the path to total freedom requires a level of courage you didn’t know you had.
it asks you to walk away from the crowd & make choices independent of expectations.
it demands you go it alone at times no matter the challenges you face.
it instructs you to leave your comfort zone & step into the unknown.
it insists you get honest with yourself about who you are & what you want.
it orders you to stand in your power & become sovereign of your own life.
it pierces through the facade & destroys your virtuous reputation.
it removes you from the pretty prison you’ve known as life up to this point & leads you to a place your soul recognizes as home.
it ushers you into a world where god exists & unconditional love prevails.
freedom is love. love is freedom. everything else is an illusion.

love letter
say how you feel
tell people how you feel.
release the fear of being judged or rejected by others for sharing your heart. if someone doesn’t like you for who you really are, you belong elsewhere.
you don’t have to spend your life trying to fit into someone else’s idea of you.
showing up as yourself is your gift to the world & those who are meant for you.

feel to heal
to heal, we must feel. to feel, we must move beyond the mind numbing activities we endure to stay distracted from the feelings we have been tirelessly avoiding.
instead of judging yourself for past choices & stewing in regret, move your attention to the feelings buried underneath the anxiety & depression you’re experiencing. get to the root of the problem by studying yourself & looking inside for answers. what emotions have you neglected? where does resentment reside within you? how does it make you FEEL?
anger & rage will continually arise when you are triggered by the external world if you have not yet healed your internal wounds. you will have a tendency to create problems where there are none & project your hatred onto others until you recognize your shadow (past events & trauma you have hidden in the dark) as your friend.
unexpressed emotion within emerges as a plea to be seen & heard by you. it is asking to be honored, cared for & fully expressed. your wounds crave attention from YOU. the love you seek outside of yourself may temporarily soothe the ache within but will never heal the pain. only you can do that for yourself. self love is the medicine you seek for your suffering.
self love will set you free from misery & grant you the confidence to practice honest self expression, which is necessary for a creative & satisfying existence. FEEL so you can heal. HEAL so you can set yourself free.
